About Sam:

I was born and raised in small town Placerville, California. I am the youngest of 5 and have been married to my high school sweetheart Britton since May 2007. In 2015 we welcomed our  firstborn son Rayland Timothy to the family and in August of 2018 our littlest Brooklyn Esther was born.   In addition to raising our kids Britt teaches piano in our living room while I serve as the Pastor of Adult Ministries at Foothills Church (foothillscp.org) in Cameron Park. I received my B.S. from CSU Sacramento with a major in criminal justice and MDIV from Denver Seminary with an emphasis in philosophy of religion.  Currently I am working on my Doctorate of Ministry (Dmin) in pastoral skills.  In a nutshell I am a simple guy who Loves God, My family, and Fly-Fishing.
